Intro to Unarmed Combatives

Build confidence in your unarmed self-defense skills with this introductory combatives courses.

Learn simple, effective techniques to defend yourself efficiently against a variety of some of the most common types unarmed assaults, including standing and ground techniques.

The concepts taught in this course are based upon the principles of Gracie Jiu-jitsu, and utilize leverage based techniques & positional control.
No prior training or special skills are required.

Close Quarters Engagements:

This course will cover essential techniques & concepts for dealing with near contact distance & entangled gunfights. Topics include retention & close distance shooting, weapon retention both in and out of the holster, controlling the clinch, and how to safely break contact from clinching ranges to effectively deploy your weapon. We will also cover unarmed handgun disarms and defenses.

This course will include both live fire & simunition training. There will be moderate physical contact.
