Continue gaining confidence with your pistol and build on the skills learned in Defensive Pistol Level 1 in this live fire training course.

This class will focus on concepts including:

  • Principles of grip & recoil management for better accuracy at speed
  • Trigger management and sight picture confirmations
  • Balancing speed & precision
  • Shooting on the move
  • Proper use of cover/concealment

At the completetion of training, students will have the opportunity to complete a “combat course”, assessing and engaging a variety of shoot/no-shoot targets, while utilizing cover, movement, and other concepts learned in class.

Students are strongly recommended to have completed Defensive Pistol Level 1 prior to taking this course.  To register for this course, students MUST already be competent and safe with basic gun handling (loading, unloading, clearing malfunctions), and safely drawing from the holster.

  • High Quality Concealment or Open Carry Holster (Appendix or Strong Side Carry) with Appropriate Belt (No shoulder holsters, collapsable “belly band” or “Uncle Mike’s”, or “Serpa” style holsters. A good Kydex holster is preferred).
