Pistol
Part 1 of the Adaptive Handgun Series; A collaboration course between Acumen Tactical & Richardson Precision

Precision is the foundation of pistol performance.
Part 1 of Adaptive Handgun is built around developing and testing the student’s ability to consistently deliver accurate, accountable hits under a variety of standards and shooting problems.
This is not a beginner-only fundamentals class. The drills and standards are designed to challenge shooters of all experience levels while exposing weaknesses in the fundamentals that ultimately limit performance.
Students will work through a progressive series of precision marksmanship exercises focused on:
• High-level accuracy and shot accountability
• Trigger control and sight/target focus
• Shooting at varying distances
• Consistency under changing standards
• Performance-based accuracy drills
• Identifying and correcting individual performance deficiencies
• Building a repeatable process for delivering precise hits
The goal isn’t simply to shoot tight groups. It’s to establish a measurable standard of performance and develop the ability to consistently meet that standard.
Expect a challenging, deliberate day of shooting designed to expose weaknesses, reinforce efficient fundamentals, and establish the precision required to progress into more dynamic pistol work.
A 2 day bundle option is available for students who wish to attend both days of training at a discounted price.
Acumen does not permit the Sig Sauer P320 or its variants in training classes. Contact Jon before registering if you have questions about suitable equipment.
